Tadcaster is situated off the A64 between Leeds and York in North Yorkshire. Refer to the map link below. The race HQ is now in The Barn on St Josephs Street – right at the start line. The post code for sat nav use is LS24 9HA
Where to Park
Most of the car parks are within a 5 minute walk of the assembly area on St Josephs Street. Please park in the areas shown. If you choose to park on residential roads please park responsibly and with consideration for local residents and other road users. Marshals will be on hand to help direct you so please be patient as there will be room for everyone.
Registration and Bag Storage is located at the The Barn on St Josephs Street, Tadcaster. It is a 10 second walk from the Race HQ to the Start Line. Make sure you have you bags numbered before dropping them off in the secure bag storage areas. Registration is on the morning of the race and is open from 8.30am – this is where you can collect your race numbers and your timing chips. Please allow enough time to get your numbers and make your way to the start line.
How do I get to the start area?
The start of the race is moved this year and is now right outside the Race HQ. If you are a late entrant, please allow enough time in the morning to collect your race numbers and drop off your kit bags. Everyone else should have already received their numbers in the post – so you don’t need to go to registration. There is a warm up provided by True Personal Training in the Warm Up Area. Runners will be assembled from 09:50am on St Josephs Street, where there will be a race briefing at 9:55. Please follow the advice of the marshals at all times. Limited toilet facilities will be available at the start area. Due to road closures being in place The race will start at 10:00am prompt.
There will be one drink station along the route just past the half way mark and refreshments will be available in The Barn before and after the race.
