Supporting Charities and Amateur Sports Clubs in the Tadcaster Area.

The Tad 10 is organised by the non-profit organisation Sport Yorkshire Ltd in partnership with Tadcaster Triathlon Team.  The event is primarily run for the purpose of raising funds for local causes. Any profits from the event will be distributed amongst local charities and local community amateur sports clubs.  Organisations that will benefit from any profits made from the event include:

Tadcaster Community Swimming Pool,

The Tadcaster Community Swimming Pool first opened in December 1994 and is one of the region’s most popular swimming pool and fitness venues.

The Trust relies on the help and support of many volunteers who are managed by a small core of paid staff. Our volunteers are given full training free of charge. This includes National Pool Lifeguard, First Aid, Reception training and Maintenance training. Many of our volunteers are students, people wanting to return to the working environment, parents or retired people. See the links above for more information on volunteering at Tadcaster Swimming Pool.

T3 – Tadcaster Triathlon Club / Tadcaster Junior Triathlon Club

The senior club was established in 2014 and is our local triathlon club.  The club are now looking into forming a junior section for all our budding younger triathletes.  Hopefully if they can get some funding behind them soon – they will be able to launch in the next 6-12 months.

Yes I guess so – as long as it doesn’t slow you down too much! – as we only have limited times for road closures.
